Our Story
In 2025, my sister was diagnosed with a 10cm uterine fibroid. She was living in the United States, uninsured, and navigating a medical system that made her feel dismissed at every turn. She called me in tears, and together we decided there had to be a better option.
After researching for alternatives, she found her answer in Mexico City. From receiving her diagnosis to completing her surgery, the entire process took one month. Our mom, our dad, and I all traveled with her. We stayed in a beautiful neighborhood with pharmacies nearby, charming restaurants around the corner, and a surgeon who was not only exceptionally skilled, but genuinely caring. We healed together, as a family, in a city that welcomed us.
That experience changed everything for me.
I realized that what my sister had access to, because we knew how to navigate it, was something every woman deserved access to. The quality of care, the efficiency, the cost, the dignity. I partnered with my dear friend and colleague Wendy, whose medical knowledge and clinical expertise perfectly complement my background in travel and logistics, and together we built Endora.

Gabriela brings over 15 years of experience in hospitality and travel logistics management to her role at Endora, having spent her career leading group retreats and adventure trips across India, Canada, the United States, and Latin America. Fluent in English, Spanish, and French, she has lived on three continents and traveled to over 38 countries, giving her a genuine understanding of what it means to navigate unfamiliar places with confidence and ease.
Driven by a passion for creating seamless, supportive travel experiences, Gabriela approaches every journey with meticulous attention to detail and a deep commitment to making each patient feel cared for from the moment they arrive. Her personal connection to Endora's mission, having accompanied her own family through the medical travel experience that inspired the company, gives her a firsthand understanding of what women need when navigating care abroad. Gabriela is the steady, familiar presence that ensures your experience is not only smooth, but genuinely well looked after.

Wendy Plante
Wendy Plante is an experienced nurse and dedicated healthcare advocate with a deep understanding of the challenges individuals face navigating the U.S. healthcare system. Driven by a passion for expanding access to quality medical care, Wendy approaches each patient’s journey with empathy, compassion, and a commitment to understanding their unique needs.
A graduate of UCLA with a degree in Psychobiology and the University of Miami with a degree in Nursing, Wendy combines her scientific background with hands-on clinical experience. Her extensive travels—both for tourism and medical care—have given her firsthand insight into the benefits and nuances of seeking treatment abroad. Having walked this path herself, and being fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese, Wendy is uniquely positioned to guide and support you on your own healthcare journey, ensuring you feel informed, empowered, and cared for every step of the way.
